Spend the day at the FREE Grassroots & Nudie Suits Festival on Saturday, September 12 from 11 am–5 pm with live performances from Rosemary Schultz, Goldpine, Madeleine Kelson, and The Cowpokes. Plus, a Fashion Show, local vendors market, food and drinks, a Nudie Suit Contest, family activities and more. End the night as the celebration continues with a special ticketed Music City Roots concert at Harken Hall featuring Carlene Carter, Lola Kirke and Oliver Wood celebrating the traditions and future of American roots music.
On October 10-11, 2026, The Caverns presents the fifth annual CaveFest. Festivalgoers can enjoy music above and below ground, on-site camping, glamping packages, open underground jam session, cave tours, delicious food trucks, local craft vendors, workshops, kids’ activities, surprise performances, and more. 2-day CaveFest tickets are just $99 and include camping. Early arrivals can kick things off with a separately ticketed CaveFest Kick-Off Party on Friday, October 9.
The Bristol Sessions 100th Anniversary Celebration pays tribute to the recordings widely known as the “big bang” of country music, while highlighting the artists carrying that legacy forward. Carlene Carter, granddaughter of Mother Maybelle, brings a direct lineage to that history, joined by Elizabeth Cook, Dom Flemons, Jim Lauderdale, and Ashley Monroe—artists who each carry that tradition forward in their own way. This set will feature songs from the Bristol recordings and will be taped for later broadcast on PBS in 2027.
