On Saturday, Carlene helped celebrate a beautiful new mural by artist Kim Radford at the Nashville Public Library Madison Branch. She read the foreward that she wrote to a new book coming out this fall on Madison where she grew up, with memories of her family and school and the whole neighborhood. Then she performed "Keep on the Sunny Side," which is a theme on the mural and also on the cake served to guests! Next was her hit "Every Little Thing," and a song she recalled writing in Madison about her grandma, aunts, and sister Rosey, "Me and the Wildwood Rose," leading into an audience sing-along of “Will the Circle Be Unbroken.”
